Scope

1st Global Congress of Pharmacy Faculties. Innovation in Pharmacy: Advances and Perspectives. September 24-28th, Salamanca, Spain 2018

IPAP-18 is presented as first global congress of Pharmacy Faculties and it will be an excellent opportunity for innovators in the most representative areas of the pharmaceutical sector to demonstrate and discuss their latest work. Over the last few years great scientific and technological advances have emerged in different fields applied to education, research and pharmaceutical approach. IPAP-18 will compile some of them in three different Symposia:

Symposium Education in Pharmacy around the World will comprise workshops about pharmacy education in Europe, America, Asia, and Africa. Symposium Research and Pharmacy will analyse from pharmacogenomics to nanotechnology, Big Data analysis, advances in neurodegenerative diseases, advanced cardiological therapies and food/health in the omics era. Symposium Pharmaceutical Approach will discuss important issues as Startups, antibiotic resistance and grants in relation with pharmaceutical societies. Moreover, the congress will count with plenty Special Sessions, which will bring all participants closer to the new advances in Pharmacy field.

EDUSFARM and COIFFA Symposia will be released; the best pharmacy final projects from graduates will be displayed and discussed during the congress.

Dean’s Conference; Vicedean’s Conference (External Practices); Final Project Coordinators; and an ERASMUS meeting will be celebrated.

IPAP-18 will gather great national and international experts of high relevance in fields such as teaching, research or technological development, from a multidisciplinary perspective. VIII Centenary of University of Salamanca bring a unique opportunity to update knowledge, discuss the impact of innovations and allow technological collaboration between different health and scientific professionals. This congress will join up together great professionals, promoting new perspectives in our studies, exchange of knowledge and international collaboration.
